They are frequently accompanied by symptoms such as sensitivity to light, seeing flashing lights, nausea and dizziness.

Preventing headaches is one of the best approaches. While you may not be able to avoid every headache, you can reduce the occurrence of headaches by steering clear of triggers that cause them.
Sometimes the answers are clear: Avoiding tension headaches by practicing good posture, exercise, changing positions, taking breaks from the desk and getting enough rest. Avoiding environmental triggers such as smoke and harsh chemicals is another way to prevent them.
Other triggers aren’t as obvious. By keeping a headache diary, you can identify foods and activities that may contribute to or cause headaches.
