  • LaRue Palmer
    Certified Health Coach and Diabetes Educator

    LaRue Palmer brings an impressive background to our team as a Certified Health Coach and Diabetes Educator. LaRue earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Biola University in Organizational Leadership, is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York, and is certified in Diabetes Self-Management Education through the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE). 

    His background as a career chef enables him to instruct his clients in the healthy preparation of whole, natural foods. He has a passion for encouraging health and wellness through integrative nutrition and lifestyle coaching, and is especially knowledgeable about insulin resistance. Insulin resistance plagues millions of Americans each day, and is the true root cause of Type 2 diabetes, as well as a contributing factor to cardiovascular disease, hypertension, stroke and even some cancers.

    Coach LaRue uses Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) in conjunction with Dr. Beavers’ excellent chiropractic care, to minimize and even reverse the effects of diabetes through dietary modification and weight loss. Many of his clients are wildly satisfied with the care and treatment they receive at Chiro-Integrative Health Center, and he is highly recommended by them.

  • Tene Anderson
    Massage Therapist

    Graduate of the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in New York City. Trained in Swedish, Shiatsu, Pregnancy and Deep Tissue massage. Currently working at Dr Tyra Beavers chiropractic office in Beverly Hills and in private practice in Manhattan Beach. I believe in the healing benefits of regular yoga, massage, nature walks and fun!

  • Stephanie Thornton
    Yoga Instructor

    Stephanie Thornton is from Fayetteville North Carolina and has been teaching Hatha yoga in Los Angeles for 10 years. Certified through Yogaworks RYT. Stephanie comes from a sports and dance background where she used yoga to heal her chronic pain and injuries. Stephanie's teaching styled is modeled after the late B.K.S. Iyengar. Iyengar yoga is taught as a 'means for life for all walks of life.' Iyengar yoga provides an emphasis on precision to alignment in the yoga postures with a controlled breath. Yoga props are used to create accessibility to each individual's specific needs. The practice of yoga brings strength and flexibility along of a peace of mind. Namaste.

    Pilates has become my passion from the moment I took my first class. After years of practicing Pilates as a technique and philosophy, I was inspired to complete the Pilates Teacher Training Certification from nationally recognized Pilates Sport Center since I wanted to share my passion, experience and joy of art of Pilates.

    I specialize on Physical Rehabilitation and Pre-/Postnatal Pilates. I implement Pilates exercises and philosophy in helping people to recover from the injury, to restore healthy movement patterns, and to enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle.

    Proudly collaborating with licensed Chiropractor and Physical Therapist Assistant, Tyra L. Beavers B.C., P.T.A., D.C., I mainly teach out in fully equipped studio in Beverly Hills, using Balanced Body equipment to deliver exceptional service and professional help to all my clients.

    My sessions are customized with emphasis on rehabilitation, stress reduction, alleviation of muscular imbalances and spinal pathologies. I have developed various body-transforming routines that are based on clients' priorities, regardless of their age and fitness capabilities. These series provide an efficient workout that combine different Pilates apparatus such as Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel as well as various Pilates accessories.   

    After being certified for Pre-/Postnatal Pilates and extensive teaching experience, I have designed Prenatal Workshop that educates new moms implementing Pilates technique to ease and physically prepare body for pregnancy, labor and delivery.

    Known for life optimism, high energy, creative workout routines, sold out classes and philanthropic events, I share my Pilates passion with people from all over the world.

    It is a great joy to work with real people and assist them in transforming their bodies, help gain confidence, weight management, as well as health improvements that lead to a pain-free lifestyle.
